Innovation in advertising not only needs a great idea but a solid and powerful platform to work on. Leveraging the Skype platform of millions of users we created a prototype for collaborative activities (Bi-lateral communication) on the Skype client that not only would resonate with the audience but would pay off for brands. This Skype concept campaign which gave a pair of Skype callers the ability to interactively collaborate on the design of a Vans-branded skate park during a live call. As a reward, the Skype callers were taken on a customized video ride of their personalized park with a Vans Pro skater. The execution was showcased at Cannes Lions 2013, featured in Ad Age and Print magazine.
